STYROFOAM DISC
Styrofoam discs are used to close the opening in the polystyrene and to protect the connector fixing the thermal insulation during recessed installation, so as to minimize the point thermal permeability of the connector. This prevents the so-called "ladybug effect" eliminating the formation of traces appearing on the insulated wall as a result of water vapor condensation.
Advantages:
makes it easier and faster to prepare the surface for finishing the facade
allows you to use connectors that are 20 mm shorter compared to the assembly of the connector without a polystyrene disc (so-called surface mounting)
eliminates thermal bridges
